San Francisco Daily Journal profiled Creative Industry Law on November 1, 2013 in a full-length piece entitled “New Frontiers.”
Daily staff journal writer, Hamed Aleaziz, discusses the careers of principal and founder Lizbeth Hasse as well as associate Erin Harrison, noting how their unique backgrounds in intellectual property and entertainment enhance their current legal practice. Together the two “work closely with their clients, primarily media companies, to come up with creative solutions to novel legal issues.”
The article focused on two novel media enterprises the firm helped to structure and provided leadership with its legal services, notably an online live music streaming company and an online interactive education and training service. The Daily Journal applauds the firm’s ability to engage emerging issues in IP, commercial and entertainment law and to build teams of expertise tailored to clients’ needs.
Doing so “gives the firm the capability of handling large, complex matters while maintaining hands-on service of a small shop.” The article also noted the demand for Ms. Hasse’s skills as a neutral and mediator in “high-stakes matters in IP, entertainment and commercial law.” More information on the Daily Journal can be foundhere.
