Roxanna M. Gonzalez is an associate attorney at Creative Industry Law. She enjoys working with content creators, business owners and entrepreneurs, digital marketers, rights managers, branding consultants, media companies and creative types in all fields.
Ms. Gonzalez focuses her practice on contracts and legal consultation in the areas of business, intellectual property and entertainment law. Ms. Gonzalez works on transactions involving intellectual property, including drafting and reviewing contracts for a wide range of clients and advising them on compliance issues relating to California privacy laws, especially with respect to digital communication.
Ms. Gonzalez’s practice includes trademark prosecution, copyright and trademark protection and digital rights management consultation. She has deep knowledge of obstacles in the application, registration and maintenance areas of trademark and copyright protection.
Ms. Gonzalez earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of San Francisco in 2015 and Juris Doctor, from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2018 where she received the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Certificate with Honors and was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Information Privacy Law.
While pursuing her law degree, Ms. Gonzalez served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Kandis A. Westmore of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
While attending law school, Ms. Gonzalez was a United States Patent and Trademark Office certified student clinician for two semesters.
Additionally, she was a member of the University of San Francisco Law Review, Articles Editor of the University of San Francisco Intellectual Property and Technology Law Journal and served on the Executive Board of the USF Intellectual Property and Cyberlaw Association.
